Tamara Weinert

Tamara is the daughter of the Founder (Ron Travis) and President and Majority Owner of NU Drywall Inc. Ron started on his own in 1967 and the company continues to thrive even after his passing in 2014. He was always business oriented and passed that knowledge and wisdom down to Tamara to continue the success of the business. Tamara started with the company in 1978 alongside her father and mother. She has a Degree in Accounting from the Nebraska College of Business. Since then, she continues to add to her knowledge of Construction and dedication of the company’s success. She has always believed in Honesty, Hard Work and Family and considers her Employee’s part of that family. Tamara is happily married and when not working enjoys Cooking, Kayaking and Traveling whenever she has a chance.

Nick Weinert

Nick has spent his entire life in and around the construction industry. From a young age he saw the opportunities and impact NU Drywall could have in the Omaha Metro area. To gain the proper business knowledge Nick attended Nebraska Wesleyan University to earn a bachelor’s degree in business. Following graduation, he applied his studies to his new role in estimating/project management.  He has continued this role for 15 years as well as becoming Vice President. Nick has a strong vision and passion for quality service. He takes pride in every project while building and maintaining relationships with employees and clients. 



When Nick is away from the office, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and 4 children.   

Matt Weinert

Matt started working for NU Drywall as a Laborer in 2005. Even as a teenager attending high school, Matt was ready and eager to learn the family business. The importance of good work ethic, quality craftmanship and maintaining a positive working environment along with relationships are just a few of the invaluable skills he acquired while working alongside his grandfather. He was quickly promoted to carpenter while also attending evening classes at Metro Community college for business and Construction Management. In 2010, Matt again advanced his involvement in the company by accepting the position of lead foreman, a role in which he excelled for nearly a decade. He values providing the highest quality workmanship and is always striving to improve relationships with employees and clients. As of 2019, Matt has served as Safety/Personnel Director and assists with estimating and managing projects, along with a title of Vice President. Matt is dedicated to all aspects of business and will continue expanding his knowledge and growth using a hands-on approach that gives him the edge in providing an excellent client relationship and providing a high-quality finished product.



When Matt is away from the office, he spends the time with his wife and 3 children enjoying outdoor sports and activities.
